Creating the right environments to win.

Imagine a surgeon about to make a make-or-break surgery, family members will never join the surgeon to carry out the task on hand, he needs the right equipped medical personnel to help him carry out the task. Just as the surgeon needs the right medical personnel to help him carry out the task he also needs the right medical tools to carry out the surgery, imagine the surgeon carrying a kitchen knife to an operation, the mind-blowing recipe for disaster.

Jesus visits a town and a religious leader approaches him to heal his daughter who had been unwell and sick in her body, a while later as they approach the destination, the leader receives a report that his daughter is already dead and they is no point for Jesus to come forth and heal her. Now Jesus overheard what they said, paused, gown on, Surgeon Jesus just entered the operation room and assembled his tools, his first tool is Mark 5:36b, Don’t be afraid, Just have faith.”

When someone is critically ill to the point of death, the families and crowds will always steer panic and create a frightening environment. Family and friends never accompany the surgeon when he/she highlights surgery needs to take place, they stay behind and call on their qualified medical personnel.

Jesus does the same in Vs 37, Jesus stopped the crowd and wouldn’t let anyone go with him except Peter, James, and John (the brother of James). They are certain battles you can’t fight with certain people, mindsets, belief systems, and processes, they will most definitely clash and you will fight a losing battle. Just as a surgeon uses various types of scissors a few examples can be, Straight scissors are used for cutting sutures (“suture scissors”), while curved scissors are used for cutting heavy tissue (e.g., fascia). Metzenbaum Scissors: Lighter scissors are used for cutting delicate tissue (e.g., heart) and for blunt dissection.

Like I highlighted before the operation began, Surgeon Jesus brought his best medical tool the shield of faith in Vs 36 and gathered the right personnel to help him carry out the operation. This brings forth another amazing tool in Vs 39b, “The child is not dead; she’s only asleep.” Convicted to the core that the operation was a success even before Jesus commenced. In Vs 40 it highlights The crowd laughing at him. But he made them all leave and brought the girl’s father and mother and his three disciples into the room.

Your convictions and your faith cannot thrive in certain rooms or environments, two options befall you, you either leave the room or you ask people to leave. Leave with you the people that will strengthen you further to enable you to achieve the task. But use positive filled words and a strong belief system to achieve that which you want. Start from there and that which you want to achieve becomes a walk in the park.

Talitha koum, “Little girl get up!”, and the twelve-year-old immediately stood up and walked around. Jesus has given us victory over every situation and battle, but we ought to Talitha koum that situation, I don’t know what your issue is but always know it’s “Little” before Jesus, with the power and authority bestowed upon you, tell that little situation to get up and try again, get up and love again, get up and attempt that exam again, get up and forgive again, get up and rebuild your career again, get up and claim your health again, get up and sing again, get up and aim to build wealth again. It’s not over your Talitha koum is still brewing and it’s most def gonna come to pass.

Talitha koum.
